How to: Ballet Bun

Another simple, quick style which can be as neat or as messy as you like. This looks great when messed up and accessorised with a large flower or if you want a more sophisticated look, keep it slicked back and neat, fix with hair spray and team it with statement drop earrings and a dramatic lip colour.  Think glamorous flamenco!

The great thing about my DIY sock trick is that you can choose a sock that matches your hair type much better than the standard donut sizes you can buy in the shops.  For instance, if you have shorter fine hair, you could use an ankle sock or even a pop sock. If you find the pining part a little fiddly you can stretch a hair band over the donut to fix in place when covering with hair and then tidy up with pins.

Happy styling!

I love my work and feel hugely privileged to get to experience so many lovely moments with my clients. After working in various roles within the beauty, banking and teaching sectors, the mix of skills has allowed me to pursue a dream of mine...Charlotte Ware Designs. Let's see how it goes!

Out of work I have two little munchkins to keep me busy and sneak in opportunities for Prosecco whenever possible.
